We lodged an application on 31st January 2020 for a residential development beside the former Grehound Stadium in Harolds Cross. It involved the demolition of the existing building previously in use as a garage and car showroom and the construction of a residential development consisting of six floors over basement (seven floors in total) with a set-back at top floor at 153-155 Harold’s Cross Road, Dublin 6W.
The new building (with a total floor area of 3,970.64 sq. m) would include a total of 43 units (8 studio apartments, 12 one-bed apartments and 23 two-bed apartments).
The Building was to a design by Andrew Lohan Architects and the Traffic report was prepared by NRB Traffic Engineers.
The Planning Authority decided to refuse permission and that Decision was appealed to An Bord Pleanala.
The grounds of appeal which we lodged with the appeal is below.
