Manahan Planners obtained permission from Dun Laoghaire County Council for a spectacular gallery building on a steeply sloping site between Vico Road and the Dart line and beach

The gallery was built to the design of the Italian architect Claudio  Silverstein. Its construction on the hillside was a major engineering feat.

The gallery is designed in a contemporary manner and has spectacular views over Killiney Bay.
